Furthermore, even if we did help to swing the result, know what happens next? Some freeping dickwad signs up for an alias at your favorite forum and points them to this thread. Then, BLAMMO! You're discredited for "e-stuffing" or whatever it's called these days. I've seen it happen before.

NOT worth it.

Instead, what you gotta do is turn it around: go find the thread in freeperville or LGF that's pointing the freeps to the poll, and post about it. It's about time we started calling everyone on their bullshit, instead of playing along and perpetuating the myth of the internet poll.

Ya know, to the extent that the poll is at all valid, it just might be that a 2/3 majority of the people on that forum are bush-voting morons. Take that information and use it to our long-term advantage. Think about what you can do to inform these poor people, so they can make decisions based in reality rather than lies the propaganda spokesmodels on FOX news tell them.

75% of bush supporters don't know their ass from their elbow when it comes to Iraq. They still think Iraq had stockpiles of WMDs, nuke weapons programs, and ties to Al Qaeda. Over half -- almost 60% -- think that the invasion would not be justified unless these things were true. Chances are, SOME of those very people are on that message board.
