The GOP's answer to Clinton is this dumb story on Monday
Bring it on. Clinton will win the day hands down.

Washington Post April 17, 2002 ...

The Bush administration has concluded that Osama bin Laden was present during the battle for Tora Bora late last year and that failure to commit U.S. ground troops to hunt him was its gravest error in the war against al Qaeda, according to civilian and military officials with first-hand knowledge.

12. Something is wrong with this - the bush admin has reached that conclusion?
Edited on Sat Oct-23-04 09:49 PM by nu_duer
Not outsiders, but the bush admin, right?

I find it hard to believe the bush admin. gives a *** what happened in Tora Bora. But why would this come out now, from the bush gang, basically admitting the dereliction of duty Kerry has slammed them for? Why would they stir that pot?

I don't think its to steal Clinton's thunder. It would have to be something bigger for them to raise the issue of their own failure. The only reason I can see for this coming up is that they suddenly want bin laden's name to resurface. Why?

Its obvious, isn't it?
