1. "Past performance is no guarantee of future results"
No baseball team ever came back from 0-3 deficit in the playoffs, either. These are strange times.

2. Umm, do we have to bring that up again?
I tried to watch the game tonight but I just couldn't. But I do hope the Sox win.

3. Ohio is like a conservative version of Wisconsin.
If Kerry wins OH, he will win WI.

Now we need our WI Dems to deliver!

Undecideds will swing to Kerry
Kerry wins by 5, IMHO.

6. whoa - step back, buddy, and take a breath!
We're all friends here, right? United to beat the shrub, right? The post is about Ohio/Wisconsin - not baseball.

We're all Kerry fans - let's not slap one another down, OK? :hi:

7. Actually, it goes back farther than that.
Dewey won both Ohio and Wisconsin in 1944. The last Democrat to win Ohio and lose Wisconsin was Wilson in 1916.
There's a better one than that, though. Since the first presidential election in which Missouri was a state, in 1820, no Democrat has ever won Ohio and lost Missouri.

8. I think we will win Ohio AND Wisconsin.
I think Kerry's presence in Ohio is so strong, the Dem party there has really come alive in a way I haven't seen in some time. There are more Kerry votes than Bush votes there. Wisconsin will be tighter, but I'm confident that we can pull it out.
