Friggin' Little Rock paper endorses Bush
They'll have to change the name of the paper. From the AP endorsements piece:

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Little Rock, Ark., endorsed Bush on Oct. 24

"This president acts. Even when it is unpopular. Even when it is risky. Even when he must later change course ... The alternative is a candidate whose 20-year record in the United States Senate is bare of any signal or even memorable achievement, and certainly of any great vision."

I'm trying to remember if there's another Little Rock paper; hope so. I'll try to get the link to the actual paper on edit.

2. No surprise with the Democrat Gazette
they're as right wing as they come - only other paper in LR is the AR Timew (a weekly, I think) it would go Democratic.

3. This should be the link to the page where you can find it
The Democrat-Gazette, apart fromm being misnamed is registration-only. There's an editorial on this page entitled "No surprise"; the excerpted text on the index page is just a lot of blithering about presidential endorsements in general. Still, there ian't anything else that could be the endorsement. Pretty non-ringing endorsement, wouldn't you say? Anyway, if you're burning to read it, go here, click on "No surprise," and register. I didn't do it, so can't say for sure they won't ask for money.

Sorry about the delay; when I came back to edit the earlier post, I couldn't get back on DU for hours and eventually went to sleep.

The Little Rock Paper used to be EXCELLENT until Gannett (the company that owns USA TODAY) bought it and turned it into the asswipe it is today. . . . This paper endorsed Bush in 2000;it endorsed that fat fucker, Mike Huckabee, the current governor, who, by the way, is a Baptist preacher. . . See what I mean?

5. No other Little Rock paper. The two merged years ago. The new
"merged" paper has been a right-wing rag ever since. I could have definitely predicted this one.
