They gave Bush way too much credit. I thought the Post could do better than that. They praise Bush throughout most of the article, or at least more than I thought they should have. I don't trust the Post if this article is any indication of how they view the Bush pResidency. Any rag commending Bush for his leadership after 9-11 (ANYONE could have done better) has no credibility, IMO. Oh well, I guess we should take what we can get, but Kerry deserves a better endorsement than that. Perhaps I just read it wrong.

this is par for the course with the Washington Post -- they did the same, lukewarm kind of endorsement for Gore in 2000.
BUT most people won't read the actual endorsement (luckily!) and they'll just get the headline -- Washington Post endorses Kerry!
