This is free advertising for the RNC and GWB 10 hours a day on YOUR airwaves. I believe the red state phenomenon is simply due to working people (who are in their cars all day driving to various job sites) who only get information from Hannity, Coulter, etc.

1. It is why so many of them are so ill informed about Bush etc.
I am sure that is why that study found Bush supporters so ignorant. They are also responsible for the great divide in this country. They are really the evil driving force.

2. No doubt about it.
While it appears the O'Reilly problem may have solved itself, the Limbaugh and Hannity problems are as bad as ever. It's amazing how many people believe these guys. Obviously, the long term solution is education. No educated person believes those idiots. Short term? Perhaps a TRUE boycott of Limbaugh's advertisers would solve the problem. The Sinclair episode proved that we have the strength to do so.

4. With some luck
Rush may yet get his audience reduced to those that get the prison radio station.

5. Subsidies needed from aflcio, DNC.and ur last will ant testament 4 AAR
rush's advertisers? seems takebackthemedia has dropped its page on them. Know any other listing?

include aar in your last will and testament. ask aflcio and dnc to subsidize aar.

educated people do back bush. Education makes men clever, but not wise. Engineers seem mostly far far right. Pampered experts in all fields back the boss.. which is RW usually. education is no answer. unless you meant information, specifically LW information. Education today is mostly job training, even in college. Little of it is philosophy courses.

6. Everything is black and white to them

"Engineers seem mostly far far right.

You make a good point. Engineers mostly deal in black & white, no shades of gray, the same as our conservative republican friends. I'm happy to report that my husband is a lifelong civil engineer who's voting for Kerry. I think a lot of his co-workers are as well. They may be rigid and set in their ways, but they are not stupid. Most of them are appalled at GW's lack of skill using the spoken word.

3. An excellent idea
I monitor that stuff and I'm seriously worried that if Kerry wins a squeaker, Limbaugh and those guys will cause an uprising with their lies, or at least isolated incidents of violence. I'm writing my local station and asking them to take Limbaugh off the air if he starts inciting disorder. At least, they should put a normal person on during Limbaugh to explain whatever facts are out there.

9. We Need To Do More Than Talk
Now that we have seen how the use of the "internets"
in helping Democrats and Progressives to mobilize and
act on a wide range of issues (the Sinclair boycott for example),
we need to continue to show the talking heads of AM radio
(and cable news) for what they are: Hate Mongers!
We need to dive them out of business through economic
boycotts, return of the fairness doctrine and our own media networks.
We are a divided nation because of their hateful propaganda.
I lost a sister to the RW because she listens to AM radio
while driving her rural postal route.
After Kerry wins I have no doubt that he will be attacked non-stop
by the OxyRush and his kind. We cannot let this go
unchallenged like we did during the Clinton years.

10. I think we need nothing less than the return of the fairness doctrine.
Or else AAR on a Dem-owned station in EVERY market.
