Kerry looks directly into the camera
why is the sitting president so distant compared with his challenger, isn't he supposed to be the warm, regular guy president?

Why in his ads don't we see him speaking, why is it always a narrator, why is the man himself so abstracted?

And why has Bush had so few press conferences, why with all that's going on doesn't he take every opportunity to share his thoughts directly with us?

Regarding the Mary Cheney flap, Kerry said what he said directly to the president, he didn't hide behind front groups, he didn't have his campaign people say it, he didn't say it behind Bush's back, he said it directly to Bush's face. If it was so offensive, why didn't Bush protest to Kerry's face? Same with Edwards, who said it to Cheney's face. When the Bushies protested, why did they wait until the offender wasn't around?

Why dos it seem the "unprincipled flip-flopper" is much more direct and honest than the "straight-shooting cowboy?"

4. These liars can, but..
they have so much contempt for the truth they don't bother trying to sell their lies anymore. I remember seeing Bush speak with the utmost sincerity during the 2000 RNC convention, and just before the Iraq war, looking into the camera and basically telling people to trust him, but every goddamned thing that has come from that man's mouth is a proven lie 1,000 times over.

5. cowards have to hide before they "attack"...that goes for bush, as for
Cheney ... maybe he has accepted the fact that mary cheney is a lesbian and thought nothing of what was said until lynne cheney or others poisoned the air, err... words of what was said for him... then too, like a hypocritical coward he joined the frey.
