Reliable Sources - suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure
Three hit people selected to smear Teresa Kerry without rebuttal....

Three hit people selected to proclaim JK's mention of Mary Cheney as an attack, without rebuttal....

Every news clip precisely edited to twist Kerry's meanings into something not intended...

I'm sick of the pro-Bush bias on these networks.

1. Are either of these controversies relevant?
I just don't see undecideds giving a rats butt about them.

2. I'm Gonna Rename The Show: Bubble Wrap
It's sure not the issues that mattered in our world this week, but sure was in Whorrie Kurtz's and his beltway buddies.

4. Here's all you need to know about CNN....
As an intro to Wolf Blitzer's "Late Edition" CNN shows two brief clips... one with Bush, one with Kerry

The Bush clip: "You've seen both of us in action now, you see that I have been consistent and have resolve."

The Kerry clip: "We face the choice of a lifetime."

In other words, Bush is allowed to promote himself in a short clip, and then CNN pretends that it's giving equal time to Kerry who says people need to make a choice. Such editing occurs over and over again on CNN... Kerry's message is truncated, Bush's message is aggrandized.

It makes me sick.

5. So much is made of the bias of Fox News
(and rightly so) but I am far more disturbed by what I see on CNN on an hourly basis. It's frightening. We've sent e-mail, we've called, and Media Matters has contacted them time and time again, and nothing ever changes.

6. Are you still watching CNN? They are Faux II.
People, we have to drop CNN. They are nothing more than a Time-Warner Corporate Tool To Reelect George W. Bush and the sooner we all realize this and move away from giving a damn what they say, the better.

Are you concerned when Hannity disses Kerry? Of course not. We all expect that. Well, expect it of the entire CNN crowd. Occasionally they were throwing us a bone with an occasional comment by Aaron Brown that we cheered, but it's so over for CNN. They aren't Ted Turner's network anymore. In fact, Ted Turner doesn't watch CNN anymore.

And MSNBC has this little game of stringing us along, just to stomp on us. They are trying to play both sides against the middle, as if the right-wingers were even watching them. HA HA. MSNBC knows that their audience is predominantly progressive and they take three baby steps forward, and then a giant step back. If you like playing Mother May I?, Tweety and Scarborough and Buchanan and Norville are for you. Only Olbermann redeems MSNBC in any meaningful way.

Just watch Olbermann, C-Span, PBS, maybe CBS News and 60 Minutes from time to time, and break your addiction to cable news -- it's not news people, it's straight propaganda from Corporate America.

7. Turn off CNN
for the next week. You will feel better. If you must have a cable news fix, try Olbermann's Countdown.

When Kerry wins, I do plan to watch Judy and Leslie squirm for a bit. That might bring a few laughs.

8. LOL! Still harpng on Cheney/Teressa comments?
This just shows you how pathetic and desperate they are. THese comments are what, weeks old? We have had madnesss in Iraq, a tumbling stock market, a weakening ecnomoy and this is what they have to talk about?

time warner is in bed with the Bush family. WOW.

9. I have a very long love/hate relationship with CNN
but since the 2000 election it has been all hate. I have not watched them for months, and I feel so much more positive. I used to e-mail them all the time about their horrible bias, but I have given that up too. THEY DON'T CARE, people. The sooner we realize that they only care about getting * back in any way they can, the better. From now on, I will confine my letter writing about CNN to Media Matters. I noticed that when Media Matters calls them on something they at least give a lip service response. I think we should all e-mail Media Matters about today's show.

10. CNN = GOP Propaganda
They're even bashing Clinton and Gore again now that they're coming back or are back on the campaign trail.
