John Kerry and George Bush are tied at 48 percent of Arkansas LV's, according to a new Arkansas News Bureau/Stephens Media Group Poll conducted 10/18-20. Kerry was down by 9 percent in the ANB poll taken two weeks ago

I've been screaming for months that there are southern states that could surprisingly be in play, but no one seems to listen to me. Arkansas was one of them (along with Louisiana for a while, but that appears to have evaporated).

You know, Clinton wanted and offered to campaign in AK for Gore in 2000 but he foolishly turned him down. Clinton said later that he knew he could have turned it for Gore and I believe him. And I've been saying ever since then - get Clinton down to Arkansas.

I was playing with that EC map that you can toggle and I've come up with a fairly likely scenario where JK wins even WITHOUT Ohio AND Florida as long as he gets all of ME, NH and AK!

My grandma from Arkansas just voted for Kerry. Her church has been preaching sermons about how evil homosexuality and abortion is. However, she got into the ballot box and couldn't vote for Bush and voted for Kerry.
