So Bush the Lesser made a stop in my town yesterday, and the paper had a lovely little write-up. One sentence caught my eye in this waste of paper/love-fest the Ledger threw for our pResident, and it inspired the following letter:
"To quote your Sunday article on George W. Bush's stop in Lakeland: 'But he spent more time criticizing Kerry's record than touting his own.' Why do you indicate surprise? What is there about Bush's record to tout? It makes a strong statement when the president is reduced to defensive campaigning. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was the challenger, rather than the incumbent."
