We DO have the power over CNN! |
|
Was channel surfing the Sunday shows & heard (Wolf Blitzer I think) say that a poll is coming out Monday that shows the majority of Fox viewers are Bush supporters (surprise surprise) and the majority of CNN viewers are Kerry supporters.
To which I say, NOT MUCH LONGER, CNN!!
This election has exposed a blatant bias in CNN coverage, but the new poll shows that the rightwing tilt ain't working to pull away Fox fans. What is happening is that CNN's majority base of moderate and liberal viewers are becoming infuriated and are vanishing with the simple click of the remote.
CNN better take notice, because we have the power to turn CNN into yesterday's news.

I wrote and told them so. I told them I would never watch their idiot network again, and I've kept my promise.
If at all accurate, this poll is probably five years old, back when CNN actually had the respect of thinking people.

I called them to taks for cherrypicking the polls and allowing unmitigated bias in their question of Dem guests vs Repub guests.
Told them that their afternoon anchors (Judy Woodruff and Wolf Blitzer) were the absolute worst. Said that Aaron Brown and Lou Dobbs at least try for some balance.

They lost me earlier this year. They are WORSE than Faux. At least Faux doesn't try seriously to hide their bias.
CNN decided to whore for Bush* full out. I don't know if it was to attract Faux viewers or just a management dictated agenda. Whatever the reason, I encourage all Democrats and progressives to just turn them off. Let them know why you are doing it, then do it. You'll feel a lot better, believe me.

...the Bush supporters will never watch CNN.
CNN's rating are way down and MSNBC gets something like 300k viewers on average. It should be clear by now that they're not going to be able to out-Fox Fox and the more liberal or moderate viewers are leaving as they attempt to do that. Their political coverage is just so lazy. So LAZY! Like Jon Stewart said last night on C-SPAN, asking a guest that represents one side the question, "what do you think?" and then asking the guest that represents the other side, "what do you think?" is not a job!
The only cable TV "news" show I watch is Keith Olbermann. This is after a few years ago when I used to watch CNN for hours a day.

7. CNN has been terrible this election season |
|
and they are very pro-Bush and anti-Kerry. It is so obvious that it is sickening. I tuned out of cable news all together and rely on CBS and ABC for my tv news.
CNN is toast! People don't trust them anymore since they are the neo-faux.
ps. MSNBC is just ridiculous (except for Oberman)

Candy "bar" Crowley barely hides her contempt for Kerry when she does interviews with him. Judy Goodfluff only reports polls favorable to * and others use polls that are weeks old, acting as if they are new.
Media Matters has been pretty good at pointing out CNNs stunts.

They are all biased, except Lou Dobbs... who also is biased, but biased to expose the selling out of Americans to multinational corporate interests.

but I still think, as their base viewership, we can get CNN to step away from the right and come back to the middle.
Heck, look what we manage to do with Sinclair Broadcasting!

No they're not a reliable voice for the right wing like FAUX is, but they are a major contributor to the garbage that Cable tv news brings into our homes. There is no need for CNN to allow the right wingers to constantly bombard us with their lies. CNN should be a news organization. They should have reporters who ask questions and stuff.
