16. I second that.

I don't have cable, but even if I did, PBS' debate
coverage was exceptional. I expect nothing less on
Election night.

PS I wouldn't watch Russert-Ho again if you paid me
a million bucks.

3. Flip
I have two TV's and this machine, but I will try and avoid FOX, though if Kerry pulls it out, watching FOX's reaction could be a riot.

4. When Kerry wins,
I'll be flipping-over to Fox to watch Hannity cry like a little baby. It's comin', folks.

Cavuto will cry-out for his blankie, Hume's face will finally slide-off, and O'reilly will frantically attempt to cover his ass by claiming he was "balanced" to the candidates.

5. I stuck with CBS
for the debates, so I'll stick with them on the 2nd. Of course, since we're East coast, it might be from my sleep that I'll be monitoring it. And then, of course, there is Jon Stewart, who is so much better to watch than the regular media.

I would never watch Fox, CNN or ABC. They're too firmly planted in the right's pocket.

8. Dan Rather. He needs the support.
They slimed him, just like Daschle, Clinton, Kennedy, Berger, and especially Kerry. I have a kinship with Rather now, no matter what his politics are.

27. Dan Rather for the same reason......
I've watched since the "Rathergate" Rovian setup, and I've come to enjoy it--I hadn't watched him in several years. I had switched to Peter Jennings or CNN, but since pre-election coverage has covered for Bush by not covering important news, I no longer watch either. I turn on all of the sets in the house to increase Rather's ratings, though. I still hate what happened to him. Stewart's comments tonight on 60 minutes were so funny and sad, because of the truth.. "We went to war over falsified documents. Where is the "Gate" there?"

12. Listening to Mike Malloy on Air America
. . . unless it drags on after his show, of course. I want to hear him mock George when he loses and whines . . . "but they told me I had Pennsylvania in the bag" (He said something like that in 2000), and to give one last vicious tirade against his former employer, CNN. Once Kerry is announced (hopefully), I want to turn on FOX (the only time I will) just to see how they handle it (my prediction: Uh . . . "now here's the latest on the Scott Peterson case")

18. CNN
I know a lot of you hate it, but I think I might watch CNN. I don't think it will make a difference THAT night. And everyone says they're so biased...I just don't see it. I mean, maybe one or two things here and there but I think those might be unintentional.

Besides, Wolf Blitzer looks like a slimmed down santa claus :)

They wont give in easily... even if EVERY other network has called it for Kerry.

I plan to go between PBS and CBS.

Not to mention being here at DU.

30. I plan on channel surfing
One thing is for sure, the minute Kerry is announced the winner I'm flipping over to FOX and staying there for a bit.

Maybe I'll set up 2 or 3 tv's in the same room to monitor the coverage, but that seems a little bit like overkill... tempting though.

33. I'm not going to watch the returns, since I don't watch television news.
I'm going to bed in the secure knowledge my country will be safer with its new President.

I might log on to DU around 4:00 am when I wake, to read the celebrations. It will be almost 24 hours after I am one of the first persons in New Jersey to vote for John Kerry.

I'd like to have all the resources available at my computer, but I also want to be able to celebrate with friends.

We'll probably have laptops and all sorts of TV's set up for November 2.
