Are there any solid red states where the polls are tied?
I have been trying not to gnash my teeth and give myself indigestion by tracking the polls too much. But am I insane to think that I read or heard that a few of the states which were solid red states are almost tied in the polling. I want to say like Arkansas, Virginia, West Virginia, even N. Carolina. Was I just imagining this?

If that is the case, isn't that pretty big news that they are tied in so called solid red states, since in the solid blue states such as CA, NY, MA, etc. they are not even close?? Everyone seems to be focusing on Ohio, PA, and FL but if any of those other red states are tied, isn't there a legitimate chance that with undecideds and new registrations that they could even break for Kerry? I'm not that much of an optimist but it would seem that if any of those states were tied that it would be big news.

If I am wrong about any of this I apologize. Like I said I've been trying to avoid polls and/or cable news. Of course if this were the case I don't imagine they'd be reporting such bad news for *. But I'm just curious.

2. Looking over some recent polls.......
I'd have to say that Arkansas is a dead heat, Virginia is within about 3 point, West Virginia and North Carolina are probably about 4 or 5 points. Arizona is probably that close too. I think we will get at least one of the above states.

6. Should be the story
Although there's probably a few red states that are equally slanted towards Bush. But still, we've got our blue states pretty much in the bag while CO, NV, AR, VA, TN, and WV are as much toss-ups as WI and IA. It should be the story, we'll see what the "liberal media" does with it.

Not holding my breath, don't want to die before I see the Kerry LANDSLIDE!

7. Turnout, Turnout, Turnout..
it is so close in so many states, that you can throw out the polls. If the Dems turn out in full force, we win. It can't get any more simple.

The election is ours to lose.
