I think we've also erased the gloom from 2002. |

I think a lot of Democrats, myself included, were depressed after the 2002 elections. I certainly was demoralized.
But, my God. What a difference a couple of years make. Poised to take over the White House. I seriously expect for Democrats to take back the Senate, as well. I'm absolutely convinced of that...we have some superb Senate candidates nationwide.
We could very well take back the House (but that seems more unlikely).
The psychology...the mood of us Democrats...is vastly different from 2002.
Isn't it great to be a Democrat? :-)

1. It's great. Ever since the primaries, we have been roaring back. |

2. Hell just look back one year! |

Saddam had just been captured and it looked as though nothing could stop him.
Now, we have the momentum. We're feeling excited...and you know it's bad when the republican strategist says "yeah we wish we were doing better"....meanwhile Schrum is saying "300 +".
One more week! One more week! (ok a little more than a week).
