Does PETA support Kerry for President?
There is much made of this fact to discredit Kerry on several discussion groups I belong to.

I , for one, doubt that they do since the recent duck hunting, but does anyone have a link to refute this?

I just batted down the Communist Party endorsement myth, but need a link for the PETA one.

4. Is there any evidence except the lack of endorsement
on PETA's website?

PETA is nonpartisan. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational organization, IRS regulations prohibit us from endorsing a particular candidate or party. We do, however, work with legislators of all party affiliations and recognize the accomplishments of politicians who have helped pass laws protecting animals, regardless of their party.

5. They should

If they really care about animal welfare, then they should support Kerry. And I'm saying this as a vegetarian and a near-vegan.

There are entire species, many species at stake, the choice is clear.
