I dont thing that the protest made any difference to anyone. they would have tortured them regardless of what was going on here in the usa.
they started the to torture when they they got there in the very beginning.

8. It's carried by DishNetwork satellite television |
|
LINK TV and especially FSTV (Free Speech TV) should be available to every American who cares about the issues. They discuss the issues while cable TV avoids them like the plague.

These guys are really fibbing.
Kerry never said he was the one that saw it all..
My Lai happened prior and was all over the news all over the world.
I am glad they are fact checking this on LINK TV too..

16. LINK TV is debunking "Stolen Honor" point-by-point |
|
Saying that the individuals in the documentary were mostly pilots downed early in the Vietnam War who didn't have knowledge of the attrocities committed in the war, and that hundreds of soldiers returned with stories of crimes committed.

20. It's amazing how the POWs say My Lai happened but other atrocities didn't! |
|
How would they know? As the LINK commentator says, "How would pilots know what happened on the ground? Especially pilots who were captured and imprisoned early on?"
I've never believed the American military men who served in Nam were evil but I believe some of them committed atrocities.

26. John McCain never said Kerry caused his prison life to be harder. |
|
McCain may be supporting Bush, but he doesn't support the liars on the right who make up the Swift Boat "vets" who weren't even with Kerry. I wish "Up the River" had shown that John O'Neil was used by Nixon to go after the anti-war vets. O'Neil is still at it, a paid flunky of the Republicans.

27. My frat brother said he shot a boy point blank..... |
|
Good buddy got drafted due to low GPA, and came back home quite shaken up. Once his Marine platoon was out to cut off a village by blowing up the only bridge in and out. My buddy was covering for demolition guys up under the bridge wiring it to blow. When all of a sudden a little boy comes out of the jungle to play in the water. When the boy looks up and sees the Marines, his eyes got big, and he froze, then turned to run back to his village. My buddy dropped him on the spot to save their mission. It took some time and some heavy drinking before my buddy would tell me the story, and he cried all night for the little boy. I also heard about drying/collecting Vietnamese ears strung on a shoe string by some American soldiers. And we called Native Americans "savages" for collecting scalps!

23. Interesting how "Apocalypse Now" juxtaposed with "Rambo" |
|
The commentator in "Stolen Honor" suggested that the vision of Vietnam in such films as "Apocalypse Now" is a distorted vision of American attrocities and killing. The LINK TV commentator after the film suggested that conservative beliefs about true-blue American honor in Vietnam and the feeling that the soldiers were betrayed by the anti-war movement is more representative of the "Rambo" films.

Found this on a Repub board. Make a call and thank Burger king if you can. They provided the number for us! (And then go buy a burger!)
"It has come to my attention today that Burger King has pulled it's ad's from Sinclair Broadcasting due to it's showing of the film Stolen Honor. I have called their customer Service at (305) 378-3535 and confirmed this. I then let them know since they have decided to let politics drive their business, then I will use politics to drive my business elsewhere and we will not be returning to one of their stores."
