Will Bush base his civilian life out of Crawford?

I can't really see it. The whole place is just a Potemkin "ranch" built as a stage set for the 2000 campaign. I can't really see him wheeling and dealing from there when he proceeds to cash in on his presidency.

Will Bush live in Crawford, or will he head someplace else?

21. Exactly, sold for a huge profit, preferably to the taxpayers
for his "library," housing "The Hungry Caterpillar" and all the papers his bunch generated, kept guarded and locked away from they prying eyes of future historians. They'll be kept because they'll provide grounds for blackmail should any of the inner circle grow enough of a conscience to talk.

Bush will likely inhabit the watering holes outside Dallas and Houston that kept him occupied before his daddy bought him the presidency, telling everybody else what a big shot he used to be.

Someplace in New England, I'm betting. Around Boston, with the 'old money' elite that hates him. Then he'll move somewhere else in 5 years.

20. Former president Bush might likely
join the military and go fight in hand-to-hand combat in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan, in part 'cause he loves freedom -- it's hard work, ya know -- and also to set an example for you left-wing hippies who have doubted the fact that he is the toughest dude in the world. After he kicks ass in the Middle East, he is quite likely to start a career as a professional heavyweight boxing champion. He will bite Mike Tyson's ears off. And to answer your question: yes, he'll do all this from the comfort of his Crawfurd ranch.

29. Yep, sittin' in the corner in that Napoleon hat suckin' on a liter of Beam
stickin' pins in the crotch of his Kerry doll and waitin' for the phone to ring. It never does.

Laura breezes in periodically with fresh-baked cookies, with that Jack Nicholson/Joker smile affixed on her aggressively vapid face, but to no avail.

Mention of his name becomes tantamount to profanity among the power circles of the right, and the subject is always changed.

Where he'll have the presidential lieberry's an open question.
