Spoke w/my aunts and my grandmother today...all very devout Catholics
and none of them like Bush. They despise him. They are all voting for Kerry in KY.

1. Yay! Thanks for sharing. I think *co going after the Catholics
might backfire on him.

Just my opinion, of course.

:hi:

3. If the fundies expect Catholics to start voting their way
They might want to stop calling their religion false Christianity and 'witnessing' to them to convert them out of it. Just a thought.

4. I've said it before, Catholics do not respond well to the "holy rollers."
We believe that there is a mystery to God's plan and so when a man tells you he is carrying it out, we think he's using God to further his own interests.

5. Catholics
I was born and raised a Catholic. Like many other Catholics I am an al-a carte Catholic. Meaning I pick and choose what to believe in or not. Many of us do not like to be told what to do even through the church does it all the time. We are not happy with the church right now because of the involvment of sex scandels and such. My Mom and Aunt also devote Catholics who go the church every Sunday and say the rosary every day, are voting for the Catholic like them. Is it right I don't know but I can tell you this they and many others have no love lost for the fundies. They think them a bunch of kooks & holy rollers in my Aunties words.
