b/c signs in Central Texas are far less than 4 years ago. K/E signs are
flush in my town but we had to go to Austin to BUY them and provide them to those that wanted them (An AMAZING amount have gone out the door of our headquarters, considering our location.) In the countryside, many of the newly landed folks get the b/c signs provided by the repukes but the mainstream folk who want Kerry have no source for signs and many are too damn busy and oppressed to care. The little, baby bush boy will carry Texas but many are not in a trance any more.

1. Austin seems to be abuzz this year.
Granted, this is my first presidential election spent here, but it seems really active for a Red State.

4. All of Texas seem to be awake again, even really repuke places. What
district are you in in Austin? Have you already voted?

11. God yes.
I plan on framing my voting receipt after Kerry wins. I voted on the first day of early voting, at the Albertson's on the corner of Riverside and Pleasant Valley. It was about a 15-minute wait on that day, around dinnertime.

in the redistricting scam they pulled on TX.. Delay and crew....

Anway..I am in a town not too far from Austin and we are excited.. The local Dem club was out over the weekend and I met David Van Os. Nice man..

What county are you from? I am in Bastrop County.

10. I do not think that that unnecessary surgery is going to work. We have
great candidates. Have you met Jan Patterson and Diane Henson? What wonderful, Dem, sound candidates they are. I am proud of the people we are running. Next time, I hope we have someone in every slot in every county!!! (I am in Lampasas, btw.)

12. In Travis County.
I hope that the court knocks the redistricting bill out for good.

2. It sounds like Bush's base vote is really depressed right now
I sure hope we can translate this into Congressional victories.

7. Lots of lackadaisical folks are really, really mad and the repukes are
reaping that anger.

3. Kerry is going to take Travis County this year
It will flip from Red to Blue, and that will be because all the Nader voters are voting for Kerry this year, save for the biggest Kool-Aid drinkers. I have seen only Nader bumper sticker this year.

probably more 60/40 Kerry now. Go KERRY!!!
