Donkey Rising: Bush's Battleground Blues (continued)
www.emergingdemocraticmajority.com

excerpt:

Since then, Democracy Corps has released new data showing more of the same (a 7 point lead for Kerry in the battleground states). And Mystery Pollster looks at a substantially wider range of recent polls and finds Kerry's battleground performance running ahead of his national performance in every single one. As Chris Bowers points out over at MyDD, these data show Kerry averaging a 49-45 advantage in the battleground.

And, not to pile on, but check but the latest unemployment data from the battleground states. Not a pretty picture, by and large, for BC04: Wisconsin and Iowa show increases in their unemployment rates in the last month and Ohio's remains stubbornly high at 6 percent.

1. One Point Of Interest, Sir
The so-called battle-ground states are good predictors of how the race will break nationally at the end. This is because they have received the campaigns' efforts in concentrated form, like laboratory rats that are fed many times the amounts of compounds that could actually be ingested in their normal use and so reveal by the experience of several hundreds what are the toxicities that could be expected to occur among several millions ingesting normal, smaller amounts. People in those states have been forced to make up their minds by the clamor a little earlier than the rest of the country, but as the imminence of the election day forces the rest to make up their minds finally, they will break in the same way....

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

2. I am so pleased all this negative stuff is coming out before the election.
Now they have to contend with the missing explosives story.

If Kerry/Edwards can't beat this guy after ALL the scandal the past year, my god, then it wasn't meant to be. Bush followers have to contort themselves to find a way to support him.

It is looking more and more likely we'll all be grinning on election night. 8 days people!
