Someone PLZ give me some up-beat news relating to this campaign!
Arghh... Don't flame me, or call me a repuke. Im just worried sh*tless! I'm an wholehearted Kerry supporter but the news is gloomy and its only 9 days to election.

Turn on cable news and theyre pumping out message of Kerry behind.
Watch chris matthews and hes saying does kerry have enough time to catch up.
Look at Zogby and since the end of debates Kerry is shown as behind.
Look at electoral-vote.com and freakin HAWAII has turned white from strong blue.
FINALLY go to rawstory.com and read this: Formerly Dem upper Midwest up for grabs

ARGHHHHH

Someone plz share some good news for me!
Tell me im worrying for nothing!

1. The state polls look good in the swing states for us
The NY Times headline tomorrow is how the bush administration didn't have any plans for the Iraq war, and allowed high explosives to and weapons to be stolen, which are now being used by the terrorists and insurgents against us. It is actually terrible news because it is the reason our soldiers are in so much danger

bush is an idiot

4. What are you doing to get out the vote?
A little positive action goes a long way to offset the negative results of to much TV.

and just do what you can for turnout, hopefully in a battleground state. The race is essentially a dead heat. Several polls released last week show Kerry ahead in Ohio, ahead in PA, and tied in FL.

If Kerry takes OH, all the northeast, MI (which he will), MN, and WI or IA and NM, he's in.

Hell, if he takes NV, he could lose either IA or NM (he'd have to win one), AND WI.

The West (this time it will be the LEFT) Coast is LOCKED. Kerry will win all three of them. Nader is nothing in Oregon.

Also, did you hear what the republican strategist had to say? He said something along the lines of "we wish we were ahead at this time".

Meanwhile Shrum said, "we expect 300+ electoral votes".

The undecideds usually vote for the challenger. New voters favor Kerry by 25 points.

7. I dunno

I thought I saw somewhere around here where someone posted a poll of 2000 at this time when Gore was behind Chimp by like 20% in the polls was it. Look how the election turned out there, was not even close to being 20% behind, I still say we're in good shape =)

8. It's going to be fine!
Don't worry! The polls are full of crap! Despite the obvious (the fact that they're slanted in the first place), they fail to poll some very important groups. The ONLY thing at this point that concerns me is fraud. We've got the votes!

19. Visit A Blue State For A Day
You're stuck in the wrong place. There are areas of this country where you can't find a Bunnypants supporter, or they've gone underground.

Take it from this crusty veteran of more elections than I care to recall, I've never seen a more organized, energized and mobilized Democratic party than what we're seeing this election. Those in charge know what they need to do to win and are doing it...against overwhelming odds. We had the majority going into this election, we're about to expand it. Hang on, Arizona will feel the winds of change stronger soon.

Don't fall for the misinformation campaign...the cable media is not on our side and you have to view it with the ultimate in suspect...and when you see bias, point it out to others.

The good news is John Kerry will win next Tuesday with 300 plus electoral votes. The bad news is we have a week and a day of some of the worst lies and strident rhetoric this country has ever witnessed. Fasten your seatbelts, this is gonna be a bumpy ride.

23. 8 more days was........here are some reason to be confident
firstly if female, chocolate bar handy for next 8 days a good thing, lol and a wink

dems are pumped and enthusiastic and wanting bush out. we are aware of theft of vote. pisses a lot off. there are people nation wide ready to vote. voter registeration up significantly over the repugs. youth getting out to vote in record numbers. none of this is going to show up on the polls

early voting always trend to repugs, are trending to dems

never has an incumbent won with lower that 50% approval

polls closer they get to election, the more unreliable they are and they are already extremely unreliable. stopped worrying and missing with them long ago

news media, turned it off befor debates. has been grace for me in my house, and for my family. cannot willnot watch. get my news on what is up from the people on the board.

kerry people are confident

bush people are feeling loser. as are the supporters

and know we are beyond the time for oct surprise so can let that go. this is it, the final run, all but over, just time to speak out for kerry and tell all what a great president he will be and let all fall into place

kerry people are so organized and competent adn aware about what is up at the polls, unlike 2000

all is good, media presenting an illusion a false story. dont by into it. have fun this last week knowing tues we are going to have another president, a different president

24. One big piece of advice
turn off cable news.

Read news on the internet only or only watch BBC World News or CBC News (Canadian). Better, more balanced sources.

Get the media whore chatter out of your head so you can think clearly again.

25. I refuse to believe ANY democrat is stupid enough to believe * is winning
I'm not a true believer, blind optimist, or anything of the sort. Look at history, at what historically has happened to incumbents who have been polling this bad before election day. They don't win.

33. i understand your reasoning. once i was so down
it was in sept, after talking to a fundie friend for three hours in the parking lot of my childrens private baptist school. i was sick in dispair and i came on the board saying f8 it, let bush be relelected these jerks deserve bush another four years to learn their lesson. and i had some wonderful people come on the board and say, quit being wussy, get out there and fight, never stop, lol lol. and within an hour i felt better. so maybe, just maybe......this poster needs a shift in perspective and away from the polls and news. that is all.

i would like this person to see all the power we do have so he/she can do this next week in confidence
