Send this to everyone you know, including Republicans
Good morning, everyone. With only days left before the election, this news story is a literal and figurative bombshell that could possibly send Bush back to Crawford, permanently. How much safer do you feel with GWB in office?

I hope that you will read the linked article http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20041025/ts_alt_afp/us_vote&cid=1506&ncid=2043 Rate it a 5, and discuss it with any undecided person you know. Use it to open up the discussion with someone who seems to be already decided.

The facts are all there:

1. The US was warned by the International Atomic Energy Agency
2. The US failed to protect these stockpiles. 380 tons of explosives.
3. The IAEA fears the explosives are now in the hands of terrorists.

What is worse about the full story, is that this lack of security has been known for a considerable period of time. The Pentagon also reported this morning that over 150 sites of weapons storage have been underprotected. These sites include 600,000 TONS of warheads, explosives, and other weapons. 1.2 trillion pounds of explosives "underprotected" is terrifying, especially when a quantity of one pound was enough to bring the Pan Am 103 flight down, killing 270 people. According to US intelligence, terrorist cells within Iraq have increased to no less than fifty since the invasion. Are we truly safer today than we were four years ago?

John Kerry has the plans and the foresight to make the War on Terror a multilateral effort instead of one where we practically "go it alone" with weakened alliances such as the UK and, yes, Poland. John Kerry has priorities and will build the international front necessary to win the War on Terror. He is not burdened by the pressures of big business, namely big oil, to make the catastrophic mistake of protecting refineries first.

Get the word out. Bush has failed to protect us and our troops. Kerry is the only choice on Tuesday November 2.

1. Releasing press releases does nothing
for the average american who rarely sees them. They must prepare an ad and have it on TV by tomorrow morning. And Kerry must be relentless on it on the stump

2. That's why you should spread the news yourself
Make it an issue and keep talking it up.

You must know plenty of average Americans, I do - now fifty of them will get this e-mail in their inboxes when they log in at work, at home, and on their cell phones.

Don't wait for an ad that won't be seen in non-swing states. This is an issue that can turn RED states BLUE.

3. Shameless self-Kick
Send this to your e-mail lists. The news may get buried by Justice Rehnquist's health problems.

Bring the issue to the forefront
