Orlando's Fabulous "Drag To The Polls"
I had the pleasure of voting with a bloc of hundreds of other GLBT's in Orange County FL yesterday at the First "Drag To The Polls" event.

Held at the Parliament House, the organizers provided brunch and a roundtrip luxo motorcoach ride to the (early) polling stations.

It was a real hoot!! The poll workers cheered as we came in, and our local City Councilperson Patty Sheehan presented them with rainbow boas!

The local news channels were there--reinforcing the power of the glbt vote.

Music, dancing all afternoon and evening!

4. In my disco days...
A guy friend of mine from college took me to the "other" one. Grand Central Station? It was beautiful! What a loss when it burned down. People said it was torched because of Gay Wars. Trumad, do you know if that was true?

I wish Dallas had thought about something like that. :-)

5. I wish you'd try that at the polling place in my area.
It's currently located in the basement of the local First Baptist Church. I would love to see the looks on the faces of the volunteers when the gang arrived to vote. Woo-hoo!
