Remember Dean's volunteer PAC - Truth and Hope?
They came out a brand new ad:

http://www.truthandhope.org/Funny.mov

The founder of the PAC is run by a former Republican Eugene Hedlund, and here's his latest e-mail:

This is our new ad, called "What's so Funny?" & it speaks for itself:

http://www.truthandhope.org/Funny.mov

I am taking a poll, soliciting feedback & hoping to spread the word with my Kos diary (almost identical to this email) at: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/10/24/33638/640. Your contribution to that conversation & diary recommendation will be greatly appreciated.

There is no spinning the President's callous actions. There is no reason to flinch away from the truth, and this ad is all truth. What's so funny is a simple question which the viewer will be left with, but not a leading one & not a talking point.

There is not a lot to say about this ad, it speaks for itself & will cause strong reactions. You'll love it or hate it, but you cannot ignore it.

The viewer will have to justify the President's joking or accept that perhaps he is not the likable fella they think he is, and just maybe he shouldn't be running the war on terror when the cost is so high & his concern so little.

There are few ads which will truly make a difference, I believe this is one of them. This is going on the air in swing states next week and straight through the election. If you agree, help us get this out to a wider audience by contributing at:

https://www9.cruzio.com/w9a011/tnh/contribute/contrib1.php?project=9

We expect to have the final revision of "The Pet Goat: Judgment Matters" ready for viewing within the next 24 hours.

If you find this ad worthwhile, please help spread the word. Time is short, but far from being too short, this ad will be in the stations hands on Tuesday with plenty of time to air through the election for those undecideds who make up their minds the last days & will probably pick our next President. Let this be the fresh image they take with them into the polling booth.

Thank you for all that you do,

Eugene Hedlund

Founder

1. WOW! SO POWERFUL!!!
That is a very, very soul searching piece of imagery.
I just sent it to everyone on my mailing list -- Repubs and the already-saved Dems.
I hope they are bugged with me, but if they can't sit through that, they should not be voting for the DISEASE that caused it.

Kerry On!
