Vaccine shortage: Bush fails to protect US from biological threat.
As a public service the Kerry campaign ought to be handing out face masks with "BUSH FAILED"

IMO the Kerry campaign should be coming down harder on Bush for the utter failure to protect Americans from the flu which is a deadly biological agent.

Who is to say that AQ operatives in the states won't deliberately spread this easily transmittable disease? Given Bush's endless utterances of how things are different after 9/11 why didn't he insure that more than just two companies (one foreign) produce vaccines?

Who is to say that the contamination of the vaccine at Chiron wasn't terror related? Has anyone investigated if security at the lab was compromised? If the contamination was simply due to incompetence why were there not back-up labs producing vaccine? Why place the fate of so many people in the hands of one foreign lab?

Furthermore Kerry should be raising hell about the very real cost businesses face when flu vaccines are not made available to workers and the very real cost in terms of lost wages workers face without access to the vaccine.
