DU CNBC "Power Poll" and email your concise comments for TV
http://moneycentral.msn.com/content/CNBCTV/Promos/P98440.asp

Total Votes: 385
If the election was today, for whom would you vote?
George W. Bush
57%
John F. Kerry
43%

In one or two powerful sentences, please tell them why you are voting for Kerry. They read/show some of these on the air during their awful Power Lunch program. Hit it now:

powerlunch@cnbc.com

Put your first name and city/state of residence at the bottom of your email.

1. That is great, considering their audience.
CNBC viewers tend to be wealthier and more...Republican than some other audiences. Kerry's doing quite nicely where he is--but I'm on my way to help him out!

3. FWIW, here's what I wrote...
Of the many reasons why I'm voting for Kerry, at the top of the list is the fact that I want to move forward. America is ready to start living again toward hope, promise, and prosperity...instead of being stuck in the terror, disbelief, and grief of the day after September 11, 2001.

4. Very good. With comments like that, we're bound to get one or
two on the air, and perhaps persuade a market junkie here and there.

Maybe somebody could write a comment about the market's lousy performance under Bush being their reason.

11. My comments sent

Bush was AWOL in the Vietnam era.
Bush was AWOL on 911.
He is AWOL as a leader and unfit to serve our country.

Kerry was THERE for Vietnam and served with honor and dignity.
John Kerry is the only choice to be THERE for us as President.

25. comment (for the suburban moms and undecided voters)
Bush is extreme and Kerry is moderate.

Bush and Kerry both want to curb late-term abortions, but only Kerry wants an exception for the mother’s safety.

Bush and Kerry both oppose gay marriage, but only Kerry wants states to be able to allow for hospital visitation rights for gay couples whereas Bush wants all recognition of civil unions banned in the Constitution.

Bush and Kerry both want to create jobs, but Kerry wants those jobs created here in America and Bush is content to see those jobs created in India.

32. Done. My comments. Are they specific enough?
Bush is a proven liar. A proven incompetent (past failures in business in TX from which his daddy's buddies bailed him out), a failure in the military (didn't finish his tour and lied about it), a failure at keeping this country safe (9/11), a failure at keeping our economy in the black (record deficits), a failure of maintaining the respect of the world for our nation. He has divided not only the country in irreversible ways but he has divided the world into hostile camps that will be difficult to bridge. His policies are arrogant, disrespectful, stupid, and racist. The world know this and so do all Americans. It's just sad that half of America applauds shuch policies.
