Is the Iraqi Explosives story finally the last nail in Bush's coffin?
The race for president continues to be close despite Kerry's brilliant debate performances, the economy and Iraq. The only thing, apparently, keeping Bush's head above water is TERRA!! and the administrations ability to scare people.

Will this disclosure finally make the last deciders say, "this is too much, I'm voting for Kerry?"

also, is this our October Surprise?

Frankly I'm surprised at how close things still are. But I do expect a big swing one way or another by this weekend and my betting is it will be towards Kerry.

1. One in many last nails. More to come I think.
Even after * loses the election, he will have to deal with his administrations failures in preventing 9/11.

has proven yet again how incompetent he is.

5. That coffin has been nailed shut for some time now...
... but his brain-dead zombie supporters don't seem to mind.

6. Doesn't matter -- his base is nail-proof
Chimpy beheads 500 puppies in ritual sacrifice? Cheney poisons his daughter to prevent her immoral behavior? U.S. Army accidentally drops a "nucular" bomb on Baghdad?

No "final nail" story will make any difference to Bush's base. They're in such denial of reality that I'm not sure they'll even recognize Kerry won the election even after Theresa's serving tea in the White House.

7. No they will just get Condi to take the fall for him
Tenet to the sword for the 9/11 Commision report. So she will take it for the explosives they lost.
