Seriously they did. That was the main part of their reporting on this.

6. Blah blah blah blah blah
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 10:56 AM by Moonbeam_Starlight
meanwhile bush failed to secure tons and tons of explosives in Iraq.

Hmmm, which is worse? Stupid Today Show idiots.

They're just upset: they know how freaking popular Clinton STILL is. In fact, I see more support of Clinton now than I did in 2000. There's been a few years distance between now and the BJ episode. People much more openly support Clinton than they did a few years ago. It seems the BJ stuff has faded into the background, and thanks to bush's horrible failures the last four years, Clinton's accomplishments AS PRESIDENT have come to the foreground.

If I had a dollar for everyone who said "I'll take a president who's doing a good job as president and getting a bit of action on the side to THIS anyday" I'd be taking a nice vacation right now, I'm telling ya.

No one but bush's base even cares about that crap anymore. And even some of them are kind of half-hearted about it.

10. Complete with Larry Sabato talking about Clinton's charisma
~"Bill Clinton has more charm in his pinky that John Kerry has in his whole body. Having Bill Clinton on stage could easily make Kerry look like he is number two"
Kerry is having a hard time connecting with black voters in Pennsylvania.....

Cut to report with W flying into a rally in Marine One. "All the trappings of the Presidency"

I'll see if I can find a link.

14. Surprise for the press
Whattya wanna bet Kerry looks just wonderful up there with Bill, in spite of all their, "Ooh, he's no Clinton" crap. Wanna bet that when Kerry looks presidential even on a stage with Clinton, he wins a few more converts?

Kinda the same way that Kerry put Bush to shame in the debates on the "who looks presidential" front. I say when Kerry can stand up on stage as Clinton's equal (which he will today), it will shut up those damn naysayers once and for all.

31. Synopsis of NBC Tiday Show report
Link to video (2:14 with a :22 ad at the beginning)
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3032633/?ta=y

Ann Curry-Campbell, Bill CLinton is makes an appearance there today? (as if this is the first she had heard of it)

Campbell Brown- Yes after heart surgery Bill Clinton is coming off the sidelines... several surprise musical guests including Patti Labelle....but Bill Clinton is the main attraction...

"The Kerry campaign is HOPING (emphasis not added) that he can generate some MUCH NEEDED excitement in the Democratic base in this all important battleground state"

Cut to video of Clinton---"rockstar"

For all the buzz he creates some political commentators say that having Clinton stumping with John Kerry could have a downside

Larry Sabato-"Bill CLinton has more charisma in his pinky finger than John Kerry has in his whole body. Clinton is almost certain to outshine John Kerry"

Campbell Brown-but the Kerry campaign says it is worth the risk HOPING that Bill Clinton can generate some MUCH NEEDED excitement in the Democratic base in this all important battleground state (said it again)

Polls show Kerry is under performing with African-Americans here (Pa.)

Sabato-if Bush can turn Pennsylvania around it will be very hard for Kerry to win that is why they have put so much emphasis on the Keystone state.

Cut to video of W getting off Marine One- President Bush has visited Pennsylvania more than anything other state with 41 visits while this will be John Kerry's 22nd visit to Pennsylvania

Oh yeah and President Bush will have Arnold Schwarzenegger campaigning for him in Ohio...Ann.

32. Believing their own lies
They just can't understand the obvious -- that President Clinton is, and always was, very popular.

As for people showing up "just" to see how Clinton looks after surgery (:wtf:) -- gee, John Kerry addressed a rally of 20,000 people here in Pittsburgh last Wednesday -- an all time record for a political event -- and Bill Clinton wasn't there. Not even Ben Afleck. 20,000 people showed up to cheer John Kerry.

They sure come up with bizarre explanations for the obvious. I guess the crowd will start chanting "Show us your scar!". Surely their interest in attending this event is to assess his medical condition, not to welcome him back to public life after his serious surgery.

Well, if CNN can barely give the half million protestors marching at the RNC a mention, but give daily coverage to Roy Moore and his dozens of supporters in Alabama every day for weeks, and still give him minutes of face time -- they can only pretend to be "news".

What they may not have realized is that they have been so fucking ham-handed and clumsy in their propaganda that lots of Americans caught on years ago and trust their own minds more than they do CNN.
