What was Clinton's approval numbers when he left office? |
|
I thought I heard it was around 60%. If that's the case, then why is the media saying Clinton will hurt Kerry?
I hope to see Clinton in places where Bush expects to win. I would love to see him in Arkansas, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Florida, and even Georgia(where I live).
He WILL be a big help to Kerry. The media cannot accept that Clinton is loved by the majority of America. I love it.

2. Because they were told to say that. |
|
It's a prime GOP talking point.
Clinton bad. Clinton unpopular.

8. Anyone who still hates Bill Clinton will not vote for Kerry anyway |
|
Clinton would be good to sent out on the trail to shore up some of the Democratic base in the South and West, especially African-Americans. We can not overlook this crucial block of the democratic base.

3. I love the bullshit being spread that it might hurt Kerry. |
|
Please. The man presided over unprecedent prosperity. If America has to contrast the Clinton years with the Bush years, it's not even close.

5. Don't have exact figures |
|
and I'm too lazy to look them up right now, but I recall that when Reagan died, they kept showing how popular he was, but in fact, Clinton had higher approval ratings during his term than Reagan did.

6. Simple, they say he will hurt Kerry because he will HELP Kerry |
|
Just take anything they say and invert it.

7. His approval ratings were 65% ... |
|
during the impeachment.
That puts AWOLs 42% approval rating in perspective.
It still amazes me that junior is still in the race.
