The Repukes alleged "October Surprise" rebuttal
The so called big news was that JFK had said he met with all the members of the security council and the Moonie times says he didn't.

My question, and my gut feeling on this is that Kerry met with the permanent members of the SC, can somebody confirm this?

1. Who's talking about this?
The Washington Times, that's who. Ergo... who cares?

2. To be honest - who cares?
Seriously, if this is their big anti-Kerry missile, they're off their Haldol.

4. What are you talking about? 380 TONS of explosives are missing
and you care about the moonies gossip sheet?

5. With the Iraq explosives scandal & Rehnquist hospitalized, this is moot.
This lame excuse for an October Surprise has ZERO traction, thanks to the tide of news that rolled in today.

It also doesn't help that the story broke in the Washington Times... by definition, Moonie stories have a tough time growing legs.

6. I think you guys are misunderstanding me.
I just want a way to torpedo their argument. I post on another mixed board where I'm always arguing with fundies and such and they are harping on this nonstarter so I just wanted a little ammo to squash their argument.

Thats all.

7. Ask them if they're aware that the Washington Times is owned
by the Moonies. Ask them if they're aware of the Moonies and what their leader claims about himself.

8. Ha! Why bother responding
Instead turn the conversation to something relevant.
