8. The Big Dawg...
I can't believe Kyra Phillips (who actually isn't bad by CNN standards) mis-spoke and said "President Clinton will bring in literally hundreds of people today"

"hundreds?!?"

22. you are right, my bad....
Conservative radio kingpin Rush Limbaugh, 53 who has announced his seperation from wife Marta in early June, is dating CNN anchor Daryn Kagan, 41 a spokesman for Limbaugh has confirmed to us.

The two were spotted at a party Limbaugh co-hosted at a New York restaurant, where guests included VP Dick Cheney, NY Gov. George Pataki and Sen. Bill Frist.

The coupling came as a surprise to some friends who consider the Atlanta based Kagen as part of the liberal media axis and a feminist-but then again, opposites attract.

Kagen, who has been with CNN for 10 years, hosts 'CNN Live Today.'

11. LOVE the Big Dog! But I had an epiphanous moment today..
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 01:44 PM by Caliphoto
This was a turning point for me, politically. I LOVE Clinton, I always have, always will. This morning, as I was watching Clinton speak, and tears are just streaming down my face, I realized the dogs needed to be let out into the yard... I made a decision. I ACTUALLY walked out of the house during Clinton's speech, because I DIDN'T WANT TO MISS KERRY'S SPEECH in it's entirety!! I have totally bonded with the idea of President Kerry, and I absolutely adore him... He actually took precedent over Bill Clinton for me, and that is BIG. Kerry is the future, and I LOVE Clinton for passing the torch to Kerry today. It was time. And while Bill was absolutely loved and appreciated at that event, he did NOT outshine KErry, as the pundits were expecting.

So, no disrespect to Bill Clinton, but today.. for me.. the torch was passed, and Kerry is the future. Does my wierd little story make sense?

19. yes!
your story is very heartening, and the fact that you needed to let the dogs out while the big dawg was speaking is perfect. as I always say, there are no coincidences.

12. Anyone else think the adoring crowds and positive energy
Is good for Clinton? I mean as long as he doesn't stress himself out and just let people adore, admire, and thank him for his 8 years of service... that kind of energy has to be good.

17. I loved: "what do Bush & I have in common?"
In 8 days, we'll both be FORMER Presidents!!!

Only Patti Labelle would wear fur to a Democratic rally (and get away with it). What pipes - that was some Star Spangled Banner.

20. Yes!
I also loved when that woman shouted "I love you so much" to Kerry and the microphones picked it up. He smiled and said something like "In eight days I'll show you how much I love you."

He was outstanding today.
