Let me get this right. The Bush goes into Iraq
looking for WMD. They invade and refuse to secure the known sites of weapons. Am I confused or is not a colossal failure of the Bush adminstration or what? The media better get to the bottom of this. Our soilders died in this effort and they now tell us that we knew where weapons were and they did not secure them and now they are probably being used against our troops and they are in the hands of terrorists.

2. Don't forget that we knew where these weapons were...
They were under IAEA seal, for cryin' out loud!

Remember Powell and Rummy telling the world that they knew exactly where the WMDs were?

They were lying.

The IAEA told BushCo where these explosives were.

BushCo didn't secure the bunkers.

Period.

Game over.

3. A real president would have waged his presidency on a pre-emptive strike.
During the lead up to the invasion, I kept waiting to hear the chimp say something along the lines of "I am so confident that we will find weapons, that I am willing to let my political future ride on it." The ghost of LBJ must be haunting *.

4. And you would have thought...
they would have figured all this stuff out long before the invasion. After all, the Bushies were intent on going into Iraq the day they came into office.

5. I'm trying to figure out why they didn't guard the dumps
There is really no answer, it makes absolutely no sense. I can't even blame it on incompetence, it seems deliberate. But why? Why didn't Bush just bomb it?

7. The media is scared. After 9/11, any questioning
becomes treason. They're pussy-whipped, beaten down, corporatized, bigfooted, fat, lazy and emasculated. Don't expect anything out of them.

8. And he's strong & going to keep us safe
This is an abusive relationship. Keep people dependent, terrorize them, then make them think there's no alternative to keep them safe. It is unbelievable to me that anybody would vote for the person who created your suffering in the first place. And the whore media, they're up there laughing when oil is $55 a barrel, the stock market has dropped 1,000 pts, the dollar is down, and we just find out that weapons have disappeared in Iraq. You would think at some point these newsmodels would say "Holy Shit, this could affect little ol' ME!"

:argh:
