6. According to CNN, "Hundreds and hundreds"
And since CNN would never lie, I have to conclude (despite seeing the images on my TV screen - which certainly looked like at least 70,000 to me) that it was a major bust for the Kerry campaign.

9. I would say near 100K
It was great. Everybody was pumped up and even though BC and JK were rather late, the crowd was so pumped they were chanting and dancing.

Some pro-birther came out with a huge sign with a pic of an aborted fetus and rather that heckle him (there were a few boos), a whole bunch of kids with balloons and Kerry signs walked alongside him covering the pic.

Clinton looks good, the crowd ate him up with a spoon.

Kerry's speech was very good and he got interrupted several times when the chants got too enthusiastic. "Kerry, Kerry, Kerry..."

10. Philly tv stations KYW and WPVI report "thousands"
http://kyw.com/news/local_story_299133629.html

A smiling, energetic former President Clinton campaigned for Democratic Sen. John Kerry on Monday just seven weeks after undergoing heart surgery, telling a crowd of thousands that President Bush and Republicans are trying to "scare the undecided voters" away from the Democrat.

Looks like they're taking it from the AP Wire, though... so is WCAU:

http://www.nbc10.com/index.html

WPVI is doing their own reporting; they haven't updated the site since the rally began, though:

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/news/10252004_election_visits.html

Thousands of people are crowding Center City, waiting for Senator John Kerry to rally voters with Bill Clinton at his side. President George Bush's mother campaigns in the region also today, and the president will arrive here later this week.

Disneyland has a capacity of 30,000 daily. EDIT: The California park only.
The park alone is 80 acres.

What would this town square in Philly be compared to that? Keep in mind that Disneyland at max capacity has room for people to walk around, and that Square looked pretty packed in.
