Poll question: Have you voted yet?
I just mailed in my absentee ballot here in Seattle. I know some states have early voting sites too. How many of you have voted already?

18. No shame in that!
The only reason I vote absentee is because I am a total lazy-ass. They moved the voting station to about two blocks away from my house now, so I might actually go in person next time.

4. In CA. I'm going to walk to my poling place on 11/2, and vote then...
I don't expect any incidents in my blessedly liberal area, and we don't have electronic voting yet -- still using the ballot-cards that get marked with an inking tool. It sounds primitive, but I actually trust it.

5. No early voting here (except absentee)
I'd rather cast my vote in person this year. I have the feeling that some absentee ballots around here don't get counted.

8. Absentee ballot here in So CA. I sent mine registered mail so I'd
get a return-receipt back, and the confirmation that it arrived. The receipt got back to me Saturday. I fired his ass last Tuesday. Went around smiling all day long.

16. Yes, BUT....
Our ballots will probably get thrown out. We're in the part of Indiana where some dumbass GOP couldn't get on the ballot in time (instead of someone else) and it's in court right now, if they're going to throw out our ballots and mail out new ones. What happens if people can't get theirs back in on time? Will they still be counted? So we may get to vote again, legitimately (??)...

17. Yes, I voted yesterday.
Me and two of my nieces were there about 10 minutes early and there were already about 6 people in line. And by the time we walked out after voting, the line was very long. Made me feel great! I could also hear a couple of guys talking about Bush behind me very loud. No one told them to shut up so that was a good sign that we were all voting Kerry!

Go Kerry/Edwards!
