Lockhart just BLASTED Bush.
That guy is badass.

He turned a question about a newspaper endorsement for Bush into a monumental blast at Bush leaving weapons unguarded.

7. CNN Judt Woodwhore
Coming up next Cheney's prediction. Well here's mine and i'm sending it to CNN. Each of us has a base of about 45% I predict 5% of *'s base defects with 1% not voting 1% going to a non candidate, 3% going to Kerry which gives Kerry 48%, now 1% of Dem's base going to the Dark side and 1% going to Nader or not voting that leaves * with 41% and Kerry with 46%. There are 10% of undecided, 6.5% to Kerry, .5% to non candiates and 3% to * So my prediction is Kerry 52.5% of the vote, * with 44%, 3.5% to non candidate or not voting but when it's all said and done 1.5% to non candidate and 2% falling back to respective parties. Kerry 53.5% * 45% and the non candidates together 1.5%

12. slammed her
paraphrased.

Judy: Polls 5 point lead for bush not what your looking for
Joe: not exactly. we dont think they are very accurate. nationally dead heat. battlegrounds we have a small advantage. We still have 8 days left. the polls have been all over the place. we think we are in very good shape.

Judy: Let me ask about using President Clinton in Philly. This is a state everyone says John Kerry needs. If your candidate be comfortable in knowing that he wouldn't need to use Bill Clinton here. Why not use him in a state that is more on the edge than this one.
Joe: Well there are a couple reasons. When we first talked to Clinton it was a perfect stop because it was close to New York. We didn't know how he would feel and it was an easy stop for him. He is feeling very good. I think it was a message to a national audience. ... Its just for years ago we were adding job. We had people coming out of poverty rather than going into it. We had a surplus rather that a deficit. We were at Peace.

Judy: Let me read from a news paper in John Kerry's home state "We know John Kerry and in his 20 years in the senate He hasn't risen above the rank of seamen for his uninspiring legislative record. He has been inconsistent on major issues from the first gulf war. .... How do you answer a paper that has covered him for 2 decades.
Joe: We don't take it to seriously. Id say go back and look at some of the things that have said about him over the last 20 years. I guess my best answer is to look at the Crawford paper. That endorser GW his hometown in 2000 and endorsed Kerry this time. Listen Iraq is the issue though we find out today that this administration didn't guard 380 tons of High grade explosives. and when asked about it the administration said we had other Priorities. Like guarding the oil ministry and setting up a Reconstruction office. That kind of weapons in the hands of insurgents and terrorist endangers our troops and our country and the president today did not address it. He told jokes about the war on terrorism . I thought that was a really impressive performance by the President.

Judy: One of the things the President said today He sited John Kerry's criticism of GW handling of the situation at Tora Bora and he went back and quoted John Kerry. As praising the administration and saying they were on the right track.
Judy: I think this is a another in a pattern of a President who just cant tell the truth. He just cant take a whole sentence. He takes bits of sentences. This is from an interview with Larry King at the time and a gentleman caller who said shouldn't we use napalm and carpet bomb the area. Kerry was saying the general approach was right. then went on and talked about consistently about who tora bora was a missed opportunity. The president knows what John Kerry thinks the real question is why can't he level with the American people. On this news on Iraq today He has known this news. Our government was known this news. He went through a debate and decided not to tell the American public what he knew. Its a real question for the president why he cant tell the truth.

sorry for the bad punctuation but transribed from tivo.
