Thanks - this is my start. I'm going to mention Iran-contra & BCCI... anything else I should talk about? Cops? Vietnam with McCain?
>>> In its endorsement of George W. Bush, the Courant criticizes John Kerry for his supposed lack of a Senate record. I guess the editorial board of the Courant just bought into George & Dick's lies about John Kerry and did not actually research Kerry's senate record? The board also says nothing about Dick Cheney's record in Congress, which included a grand total of 2 bills passed in his entire lengthy career and opposition to things like banning cop-killer bullets and condemning apartheid.

1. Just one topic - shorter the better |

Focus on Iran-Contra or BCCI because that's going to separate your letter from the others. I would be somewhat more neutral in tone. Once you've written, find the line you want people to read most and put it first.
I think I would say something like - (feel free to plagarize if anything strikes your fancy):
If it hadn't been for John Kerry's dogged determination to drag to light the scandal of the Iran-Contra affair that ultimately put the kibosh on Bush One's presidency, the first Bush Administration may have been able to successfully cover up this shameful episode in our history.
That is just one example of John Kerry's record in the Senate. Much more can be found at John Kerry's website.
