Is the Pro Bush bias as bad on Broadcast Networks? |
|
I rarely watch ABC NBC and CBS, tend to have cable news on a lot instead. I know how FOX MSNBC and CNN are "covering" the race, are the broadcast outlets any different?

ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and CNN are all way liberal!! Fox News and Sinclair are all we have!!! Please liberals, let us just have two when you have all of the other ones!!!!
:eyes:
Seriously though, CBS Evening News seems to be pretty balanced and is not focusing on the horse race too much. I've watched NBC's Nightly News a few times in the past few months and I thought it was slanted a bit towards Bush, but I don't watch it very often. I can't stand Peter Jennings so I avoid ABC's World News Tonight.

6. don't buy it... c-span is only good because no one talks over the events |
|
PBS, apart from Bill Moyers/ NOW, is a whoring network as well. You wouldn't believe me now... but wait til the real 911 story comes out (if it ever does) & you'll see that not only did the networks cover up the truth, but so did discovery channel, nova, zdnet, yahoo, etc... the sooner you accept it, the better.. there IS LITTLE/NO HONEST coverage of anything of any substance.

7. They're better most of the time |

ABC is so right wing, but NBC and CBS tend to be more moderate, with CBS being kinda left-leaning recently. What I like about CBS is that they always lead with the war news and always honor one of the fallen soldiers. That being said, PBS (Leher) has the best nightly news of all of them, because it is more in-depth. Depth is not one of the strong suits of CNN or MSNBC (except for Olbermann.)

8. No the pro Bush* bias is less on the big networks. |
|
Since they actually report more news in a much shorter time span, there is less time to propagandize. Still, ABC and NBC do slant to Bush*, whereas CBS leans a little to Kerry, IMHO.
I refuse to watch cable news any more. They are so over the top pro Bush* it's just not worth the aggravation. Boycott 'em all!
