What is the point?
We keep going over and over the same ground.

Clark is a Republican.

Dean is a two faced liar.

Kuchinich can't win.

Kerry looks sick.

Gephardt sold out too many times.

Sharpton's really running for Jesse Jackson's job.

Edwards looks like Barbie's friend Ken

Lieberman...well, Lieberman.

CMB? Gone

The same charges and accusations and AMAZING discoveries just keep coming back, over and over and over again.

What is the point? I've posted a couple of times today and then I got overwhelmed with a tremendous sense of futility. What is the point of continuing with this farce?

My guy, that's Clark, will win or he will not. If he does he will beat Bush in November or he will not. If some other candidate gets to go up against Bush, he'll either win or not.

If Bush wins we'll either stay in the US and keep up the struggle, or emigrate to Canada or Brazil or Australia or somewhere.

Until that happens, though, why don't we just shut up about our candidates and go out and work for them? The amount of time you spend here doing this could be much better used just writing letters to the local papers, or sending postcards to undecided voters or emailing O'Rielly and telling him what a loser he is.

Something constructive. There is no point at all to what is happening here.

1. You are 100% correct. It is futile.
That's why so many of us left this place.

Although we visit from time to time. :hi:

2. I agree.
I think most everyone here already have their minds made up how they feel about each candidate. Nobody's really changing anybody's mind. I know who I'm voting for in the primary, and I know I'll be voting for the Dem nominee in the general election. Not much else for me to say about that.

4. Very good post...
I also happen to agree with you. I have tried to stay out of the flame wars, unless I have seen something so blatantly false. I will admit at times some posts here have gotten my goat. But since 01/01/04 I have been able not to have any warnings against me, so I am doing better. I have decided not to take the bait.

I know who my candidate is, nobody here is going to change my mind, all they seem to do is make their candidate seem less noble. I am a firm believer in guilt by association.

7. So if you have a child
and his or her friend gets busted you wouldn't complain if your child gets accused at the same time even though they are innocent?
