What happened to Zogby? He's lost his mind
He has Bush leading by 5 in Ohio and New Mexico, by 3 in Florida and has Kerry leading by 4 in Colorado.

WTF?

Not just that but he's got shrub leading by 12 with independants. I think Zogbys polling in Texas and Montana.

5. That's because Bush had two really good polling days
Friday and Saturday (+3 and +7). When those are out of the sample, it should make more sense.

2. His state tracking polls tend to show wild swings
Today he has Kerry down only 1 in Ohio and Florida but down 8 (?!) in New Mexico.

3. Yes in this case Zogby is running opposite to all of the other polls
in those states.

I have more condfidence In Zogby's analysis than in his polls.
If you remember his polls during the n\pre-nomination perios\d, he was way out of line compared to other polls, only showing a point or two between Dean and Kerry, when other pollsters were more accurate with thedouble digit leads for Kerry. Zogby's numbers did not strt coming around until after Iowa

7. I think he does a good national poll, but
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 06:56 PM by deadparrot
his state numbers are usually fairly well off the mark.
