Bush incapable of lying...
Tweety's brother Twit just said on Hardball that Bush was incapable of lying...then Tweety asked Twit who lied to Bush then but Twit sorta passed over that question... :spank:

Tweety looked really glum when he mentioned that the movement had shifted towrad Kerry over the weekend!

1. In a way, I'd agree
He's probably the worst liar I've ever seen. In that sense, he's incapable of lying (or lying convincingly).

8. I agree, but for a different reason
He's in such a bubble, he really believes what he says. You might say he's a pathological liar. He lies like the rest of us breath. But it fits a sort of coherence theory of truth. Trouble is, it doesn't correspond to reality.

9. Kind of like Ed Gein?
Ed Gein was one of Wisconsin's many cannibals in the 20th century. In a book written about Ed by the judge in his case, he said he had a really hard time trying to decide whether Ed was insane or not.

You see, Ed Gein was fully aware of what he was doing. The problem was, he just didn't see anything wrong with it. His value system was sort of askew from the consensus one. So he wasn't technically insane in the sense he didn't know what he was doing, even though what he was doing made him insane by definition (ie., no sane person would do that).

Bush is kind of like that? Perhaps...

10. Yeah, except he doesn't eat people.
He feeds them into his neocon death machine.

I've never heard of Ed Gein, but Jeffrey Dahlmer was from Wisconsin, wasn't he? So, how many cannibals ARE there in Wisconin?

I think Bush's lying is like that of a lot of people. I mean a really significant percentage of the population are like this. Most of them are salesmen. It's a real boon to being a salesman! I mean: sincerity, right? When you can fake that, you've got it made!

4. Philosophical question: If you say something but know nothing
can you be lying? For instance, the Chimperor believed WMDs were in Iraq, even though the evidence wasn't their to support that belief. When he said the weapons were there (his belief), was he lying?

Can a clueless imbecile lie when stating what his limited mind tells him is so?

I had to choke back the vomit. Poor, innocent little Georgie cannot tell a lie. What the fuck kind of demented bastard could even pretend Scrub hasn't willfully lied about any number things?

I mean, this is the very same man who mocked a death row inmate pleading for her life. He's a sick, lying asshole.

6. I thought a S. Baptist was going to hit me when I called Bush a liar!
His face got beet red, and screamed that Bush was a Christian so therefore incapable of telling a lie. Sad to say many folks agree with him. :evilfrown:
