Did Time Magazine endorse anyone? |
|
I thought I heard on WBUR Boston that Time Magazine was breaking with tradition and endorsing a candidate, but the connection wasn't good, so I'm not sure if I heard that right and, if so, who they were endorsing.
Anyone else hear this?

Must have had a brainfart and heard Time instead of New Yorker (since they sound so much alike). Great read over at the New Yorker: http://www.newyorker.com/talk/content/?041101ta_talk_editors

2. I doubt Time or Newsweek would endorse a candidate |
|
They want to stay neutral, at least officially.
They'll probably next week publish a couple viewpoints on the election - one in favor of Bush another in favor of Kerry, like they did last time.
That being said, TIME usually runs an issue called "The Choice" in week before the election week. They didn't do that this time - instead it was about "After the election." So who knows, they might have changed things somewhat.
