I voted early (today) here in Tampa.

Well, much to my surpise, I had to wait an hour to vote and this is 2PM in the afternoon (early voting). Apparently the "little" library I voted at is seeing over 650/day voting.

As I was waiting, I listened to the people in line. The most chatty were the Kerry voters. The * voters kept their mouths shut. Lots of African-Americans (Yea). This is a Repuke area and I was thrilled.

Met a lady who was a first-time voter. Very cool. Voting for Kerry of course.

I would say the ratio was 4 to 1 - Kerry.

Our base is energized!

1. I am so afraid that this early voting thing is all a big hoax.

I'm afraid I'm going to wake up and find out they aren't really going to county all the early votes along with the election day votes like they say they don't with overseas and absentee ballots. What is the chance of this? I am so very afraid.

I voted early, too, because for the first time I am going to be a poll worker. I've always voted in person because I didn't trust the absentee route.

One car in the lot had a bush sticker, About 15 Kerry stickers.

I voted this afternoon in St. Pete.

Lots of people bitching about Bush while I was in line. It seemed overwhelmingly in favor of Kerry from what I could see. I talked with a couple of folks after we got outside and we agreed: come next Wednesday the national nightmare will be over.

I'm gonna pretend that last four years never happened (with the exception of our wonderful troops needlessly butchered at the hands of this bastard!)

Lots of Betty Castor supporters, as well. Let's hope she can hold Graham's seat against that oily sleaze Martinez.
