Wolves in Oklahoma
Saw the shrubs ad on the telly tonight. It is the first presidential ad I have seen this year - aside from the Democratic primaries of course.

Geeeezzzzz, that ad is lame. Funny. Creepy. Bizarre.

3. Tulsa station
I have family in Norwthwest Arkansas just over a hundred or so miles away. The station is not carried on their cable system and difficult to pick up otherwise.

Driving through my neighborhood about a half mile or so there are slightly more Kerry than Bush signs. Don't expect Kerry to take the state but I would not be at all surprised if he takes more of the vote here than is expected.

6. Senate Campaign ...

Coburn, the overt Republican nutcase, has tied his campaign to Shrub, and he's tried to do some of the same things with his opponent that Shrub has tried with Kerry. The Senate race is, however, very tight, so I would not be surprised if the RNC has funneled some small measure of funds to OK to try to pump up Coburn.

It is interesting, though. I see a lot more Kerry signs than I thought I would, and in the SE, the more Democratic part of the state, Kerry seems to be fairly popular.

4. Are you talking about the ad with the family of wolves in it?
If you are, it's running in Wisconsin and yes, I think it's singularly ineffective. The republicans don't seem to know that wolves have a whole new image.

7. Rethugs are always a century or two out of date
In the case of this bunch, they are a millenium or two out of date.
