Sam Nunn, where are you?
He's retired, right? He has no political future, right? Nothing to risk.

So why would he remain silent about this administration? I have always thought Sam Nunn had the nation's security at heart, especially when he designed the program to track down and dispose of all the ex-USSR nukes.

Why has the honorable Sam Nunn, former Chairman of Senate Armed Forces Committee, allowed our military to be so blatantly misused by this Commander in Chief?

I am disappointed in him.

Sad, I always thought Sam Nunn had the interest of the country at heart too.

2. He cut Clinton off at the knees with
Don't ask-Don't tell. Clinton should have told them all either give me the whole loaf or forget the whole thing. He settled for a slice and no one was happy. I have zero respect for Sam Nunn. I think his silence proves his membership in the Zell Miller Club.

3. Sandnsea is right
Decru is a reason.

Sam Nunn is also a conservative Southern Democrat. I won't say that he is crazy like Zell, but he is more philosophically aligned with the new GOP than the Democrats. I'm sure he is happy to sit in the corner and make money while not saying a word. He won't fret if W is elected again.
