OMG--Unbelievable--simply unbelievable how the momentum |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 10:05 PM by devrc243
has lifted this campaign to the next realm :bounce: I'm watching the rally in Pennsylvania now on C-SPAN for the first time today and the big dog along with Kerry is a charismatic force like I've never seen in my lifetime and I've been politically active for over 20 years.
Also, went with my spouse to vote this afternoon (thank-God I voted last week)and the crowd was curled around inside, down the stairs to the basement floor, back up, curled on the opposite and OUT THE DOOR AND DOWN ALONG THE SIDEWALK IN THE PARKING LOT! I know my eyes got bigger and bigger as I continued to walk to the end of the line! This is Arkansas people. Arkansas!
Kerry's campaign is like nothing I have ever seen before. The energy and momentum is contagious. Maybe I'm way too partisan to be objective and remain cautiously optimistic, but well...you know...:bounce:

I feel the same way and I'm suspicious of any DU naysayers at this point--- this campaign is on fire and Bush is just spinning wheels.
Kerry....in....a...landslide.

19. Saw Noonan too and got the same reaction |
|
She is no fan of Shrub by the way but apparently is working with the RNC. I'm sure she has seen the numbers and that they don't bode well for Bubble Boy.
While Bubble Boy still carries his false Drug Store Cowboy swagger, it is all but gone from his media Spinsters. They look and act beat.

thanking him for my KE bumper sticker, and I couldn't resist mentioning the rally too! It just finished, and as Kerry came to the end of his speech with Clinton standing behind him, I welled up and cried. There were smiling, confident people talking sense and promising to clean up the mess and bring us hope. It was wonderful.
And the crowd size was INSANE! WOW!
I'm voting this week and thinking about trying to volunteer to pollwatch on Tuesday if I can. :fingers crossed:
I feel the optimism too. It is infectious, and I think it's working.

26. What was amazing to me was that even the tabloid shows |
|
were covering the rally. To see the rally being featured on Entertainment Tonight and The Insider impressed me more than it being featured on the Nightly News and CSpan. The Insider even had an interview with Kerry. I actually turned down AAR and turned up the TV for that one.

10. The rally in Philadelphia was simply ELECTRIC... |
|
Absolutely charged with momentum and optimism...it was insane! We were all dancing, laughing, shouting, and cheering - we are united like never, ever before!
We are plowing through till election day with bold ideas and new plans to move America forward and the * people are still sputtering their tired and totally baseless negative "flip-flopper" and "weak" and "waffling" attack lines. They have absolutely nothing else! They can't run on their record and all they can do is stutter the same ol', same ol'. And they wonder why the momentum is all on our side!
Nothing can stop us now if we all put our hearts and souls into it the next 7 days - we're almost there - I can feel an imminent Kerry victory !!

15. I CAN FEEL IT TOO........................................ EVEN HERE! |
|
I went all over town tonight passing out Kerry/Edwards signs.... IN KEARNEY, NEBRASKA! It was a complete BLAST!
You wouldn't BELIEVE the enthusiasm I encountered. If we can get this kind of reaction here.............. we are going to take this thing in a landslide folks. I've never seen so many people around here so into a Dem presidential candidate. This is the death star of the evil empire and I can't find a Blinky/Cheney sign anywhere.

I was completely sqwished, it was jam packed! I couldn't see the crowds behind me, I'm too short, but watched the news and cspan, and the sea of people, it made my jaw drop. I've been telling people all week that Kerry will win, they're so desperate for his help, and worried he may not pull it out. He just will, and by more than people think.
Amazing stuff is going on here, the polls aren't catching it.

28. If anybody seriously would |
|
consider voting for junior the slug after the news today, I would have to equate that person's intelligence with:
a woman who would come home and find her husband in bed with another woman.
She would then say, "oh I see you're busy hon." I'll run out to the store then and get some things. What would you like for breakfast?"
