New LA times poll: Kerry 48 - Chimp 48

Sorry if this has been posted before. The link is

http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/2004/la-na-poll26oct26,1,4121923.story?coll=la-home-headlines.

Pretty much the same results with or without Nader, likely or registered voters.

6. Gotta' be national, and coming on top of WaPo this is big
Incumbents don't win (fairly) when polls are even with challengers.

8. Incumbents also don't win
when they can't manage to consistently poll above 50%, ESPECIALLY this close to the election.

From about two weeks on, he would have to be consistently polling well above 50% in MOST polls in order to be sitting fairly comfortably.

He's not. Poor sad booshie!

I haven't been on for a couplo' hours, so this was probably on here.. I really liked what Howard Fineman had to say about Kerry today on Olbermann.

Olbermann asked him if he thought there would be a breeze coming up on Kerry that may push him even further along in these polls. Fineman is sometimes an idiot, but tonight he said he thought it was going to be more like "gust" than just a breeze ;)
