I can't stand the suspense!
I have stopped watching cable TV! I cannot stand to watch another second of that blathering bullshit on cable news. I'm so nervous about the upcoming election. . . . Does anybody have any particularly good, positive news to tell me? I just can't stand any bad news right now, because if something bad happens, I'll have the next four years to get used to it. . . . Thanks!

2. Stop watching TV period.
You won't have much to discuss around the water cooler but you'll be saner for it.

3. NOTHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!!
besides, I've pretty much turned off the tv these days, too! :D It helps that the next week is scheduled to the brim with campaign work for me, so I'm lucky if I catch a little Air America as I go to sleep or in the car. Then a little while on DU and I'm happy as a clam! :D

9. After I watched Big Dog and Kerry, now I know victory is ours.
I think Kerry has WAY more support than Gore had. He's got more voters coming out for him, people that haven't voted since Kennedy.

In 2000 GW Bush did as well as he did because he was seen as the knight in shining armour here to defeat the evil Clinton clan.

That no longer is the case.

The pundits can massage their polls, but this election is looking more and more like a no brainer. Probably the pundits on election night will shake their heads and say "How could we have missed this?" Then blame it on some unforseen anomaly.
