From the WSJ: Both have 224 electoral votes with 90 still undecided, or, rather, some polls show Kerry leadings while others - Bush.
These 90 belong to: FL (27), OH (20), WI (10), MN (10), CO (9), AR (6) NH (4) HI (4) (Hawaii???)

1. Hmm, in all the talk of BBV, months ago, we all knew that |
|
the only way he could steal the election would be if it was "close".
Guess what, it's "close". What a surprise, no?
A coincidence!! That's it!
Well I'm a coincidence theorist when it comes to this administration.
If it's close, they can steal it.
And if they can, they will.

5. Depends on the internals |
|
If they're skewed, then we're actually ahead.

6. yeah but what about BBV? |
|
The only way they can steal it through BBV is if it's close.
I think we all know that it's not close. It's not close at all. Just look at the crowds.

11. I don't know where to find them like some here |
|
But when they bring up internals, they mean how many Republicans, Democrats and Independants were polled. If the sample leans too Republican (because the pollster thinks more Republicans are likely to vote) it can skew the results. We're know Gallup is over-sampling Republicans, as the numbers have been posted here somewhere. But I don't know where to go to get any other numbers.

Only 19 "Gore" electoral votes up for grabs! :D
(I refuse to believe Hawaii is a toss-up)
Bush has more states to defend! :nopity:

7. Considering how many different pollsters there are |
|
and how many times they're polling (it seems like daily now), wouldn't everyone in American have to have been polled about 10 times already? You say you haven't been? Hmmmm...interesting....I wonder if it's because the polls are total bullshit and are being used to discourage us from voting! Well, FUCK YOU BushCo! Your lies and manipulations aren't stopping us!

9. The biggest X factor is that the polls include only those with land phones |
|
who actually answer their phones.
We let the machine answers after just one ring and if anyone wants to talk to us, s/he will and then we answer.
Pollsters do not leave messages and, of course, they do not call cell phones which, for many young people, are the only phones that they have.
I hope that the majority of this second group follows Eminem and his latest video which was posted here yesterday

10. Don't worry about Hawaii. |
|
Worst case scenario, it's a tie right now (43-43). The undecideds will break Kerry's way.
And frankly, I don't believe the worst case scenario. The poll which produced this result said that nearly a third of Democrats polled were voting for Bush.
Except for a couple of southern states, I challenge you to find me a state where Kerry has less than 75% support from his base.

FL (27), OH (20), MN (10), NH (4), and HI (4) will ALL go for Kerry! That will give him 289 electoral votes. I project Kerry to win 294 EVs, so WSJ must have given New Mexico to Bush, but it is definitely going to Kerry.
WI (10), CO (9), AR (6) are in play.
