"Bush is not keeping you safer"
This is the mantra. It's a good mantra because it's true.

Bush's invasion put enormous amounts of dangerous material on the loose. No matter how you spin it, they're gone.

No one is even arguing with that part.

They were sealed by the inspectors, now they're running loose.

We were safer before the war. There were no WMD, and the inspectors HAD found what was there, and sealed it.

This president is NOT keeping you safer.

Rinse and repeat.

Not only are we not safer, the Bush administration shows contempt for us as they lie to us about how we're supposedly safer.
