Early voting in Palm Beach County
3 1/2 hr. waits for at least the second consecutive day in this heavily Democratic area. I wonder how everyone will be accommodated Nov 2?

1. Same (3 hrs.) at the Broward West Regional Library.
The poll workers better follow the law on election day: the polls don't close until everyone who got on line before 7:00 PM finish voting.

I'm an election observer; I have a feeling I might be in for a long night.

2. How many poll workers and voting booths/machines were there?
I don't have the priviledge of early voting, so I don't have a real sense of how it is being handled around the country. I keep hearing about massive lines and hours-long waits (which is GREAT!!), but are they as fully staffed as they would be on election day? Are there any plans to adjust staffing based on the early voting numbers?

I'm so concerned that everybody who wants to vote gets to.

3. When I went to vote last week, there was really no line
But I have heard of hour long waits at the Leon County Court house at various times. Considering there are not nearly as many people here as down there, though, this is still a VERY good thing.

Very helpful, very freindly poll workers. Among the poll workers were a lot of young African Americans. Glad to see both young people and minorities eager to be a part of the process. Ion Sancho, Supervisor of Elections, was there to help make sure things were running smoothly. Very nice guy who had to shake a lot of thankful hands.

5. The people were friendly,
the lines were long. We only had about 10 machines and the ballot is somewhat long . I just can't picture everybody voting after work if the pace is going to be as dreadfully slow as we witnessed.
